April 2nd/3rd/4th
our last 3 days at golf in Port Lincoln. Thank you all at PL golf for making us so welcome. We had great fun.
April 4th
Jan & Kevin arrived from Palmer. Yoeman effort 675K to see us.
April 5th
decided to visit the local wineries. Believe it or not having been in Port Lincoln for 6 weeks we hadn’t been!!! There are only 2. First one was less than inspiring and we’ll never know about the other one as it was closed for refurbishment!!!!!
April 6th
Caravan in to repairers for new awning. Luckily all on insurance. And, they mended my wardrobe catch which has been bugging me since we got the van. It either wouldn’t open or wouldn’t close – frustrating. Now works like a dream. Will get a picture of the tattooed, ear ringed giant who mended it every time I go into the cupboard.
Port Lincoln was pumping. People everywhere. A cruise ship was in town
Gladstone has recently had 2 visit and this was the 2nd one at PL. I have this vision of hundreds of cruise ships circling Australia ready to pounce on quiet little ports. Great for the local economy. Not so good when you have to queue at your favourite coffee shop.
Went for a meal at Del Giognis again. Best Caesar salad – Marj you’d love it. Then to the cinema to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. Sooooooo funny my ribs ache.
7th April
Say goodbye to Kevin & Jan ( hopefully see them again in August if our paths cross S of Darwin) and head for Ceduna.
park in Dorothy’s garden. Cannot believe she is 93. She is amazing. Elizabeth & Robin popped round for afternoon tea. Lovely to see them again. They are off to Innisfail next week so may catch up again in Sept.
Met Alf & Paula who are organising the Chase the Sun group. I think we’re going to have fun
End of a long day and a quick look at Facebook – found these lovely pics

As Spring Springs in the UK we are feeling the chill of winter setting in here in South Australia.
