As we travel the Nullabor Links we are being photographed by a Drone! Here are the links to videos of the first 4 days – they are of everyone not just us

we left Border Village in SA through customs again and into WA. We played a hole at Mundrabilla and then went via the lookout to Madura
Next time for the $10,000 hole in one shot at Madura. No one got a hole in one but with the aid of a tree I managed to get the nearest the pin!!!! What a fluke.
The evening was spent having a really great meal and listening to everyone giving their “Tale of the Trail” story so far. What a group of diverse and talented people. Great fun
Turned out that it was definitely the 13th for us. We set off at 5am in the dark with Ann & Bill. Half an hour into the trip we had no choice but to go over a rather large dead roo in the road. With a sigh of relief and no indication of problems we continued.
our first stop was Eagles nest – we had to wait for the sun to rise
Having completed the hole we returned to the car and in the light of day saw the damage to the caravan from the roo. The electrics had been ripped out, plug gone and the spare wheel carrier had been reshaped!!!!
Totally illegally we carried on with Bill & Ann following in case of problems – that was when the jockey wheel decided to drop. Luckily no damage and on we went again.
We played – 90 Mile Straight hole (yes, it’s on a road that is a totally straight 90 miles!!!!). Onto Skylab hole (where the Skylab came down) the Sheeps back ( named by the hills)
Onto Norseman and we played 2 more holes. Ngadju & Golden Horse – at last a fairway without too many obstacles
In Norseman we went to the tourist info and they directed us to the repair garage. Great they ha ve a plug and can do it tomorrow
Off to Wilson’s garage for repair. We can recommend them. Great job and cheap Looked around Norseman whist waiting and found these
A quick stop at Kambalda to play Silver Lake. Then it was onto Kalgoorlie – the gold centre of Australia. We played our last 2 holes CY O’Connor and Golden Mile. After 18 holes Ollie & I had one hole difference (87 Ollie, 88 me – net of course!!!)
The Ambrose competition – my team won!!!!!!! Ann, Bill, Ros, Gerry and myself as captain – why they gave me the job as the least experienced golfer I don’t know!!!! It was great fun and we certainly didn’t expect to win – 13 teams competed.
We then all got spruced up back at the caravan park and were taken by tram for a tour around Kalgoorlie and onto the dinner at the golf club. More entertainment from Bernie and presentations. Queensland nearly wiped the board. Kassee (the net lady winner) and Ray lee ( the gross lady winner) Richard (men’s gross winner) and little ole me with nearest the pin
We toasted the sunset with champagne. Said our goodbyes with promises to meet again. What a great group of people.
